The programme

Where does the programme take place?

The MTF programme is primarily a virtual learning experience designed for a global participant group. We use our website, meet online via for webinars, and Zoom for regular catch ups, and email. We also use an online learning system  – Learn Dash for content delivery.  The Certification Courses are face to face learning events, and you’ll be supported by a regional mentor or coach.
If there is enough need, TI may consider an in-region programme.

What are the technical requirements?

You can join webinars from a desktop app (Windows or Mac), web browser, iOS device, or Android device.

How does this work across different time zones?

Depending on where participants are, we plan the webinars to reach all times zones live, and we also record them for those who can’t attend.

No, but they will attend at least one of the webinars so you will ‘meet’ them.

Expectations

What happens if I can’t attend one of the webinars?

They are recorded so you will be able to catch up. You will still be expected to do the pre- and post-course reading or assignments.

What is your class attendance policy?

You should attend at least two webinars, and you must complete the project and certification course requirements.

What does the project involve?

This is a significant piece of work that will contribute towards your Master TetraMap Facilitator Certification. The project should allow for real-life integration of learning and added value to you, your organisation, and TetraMap’s development. The learning will be shared with others in the TetraMap Global Leadership Group.

How much time can I expect to spend on each component of the programme?

The time component is significant, especially for the project.  The assignments are designed to extend your thinking and should integrate into what you are currently doing. It will be different for each person, but we ask you always endeavour to meet the deadlines in order to maintain momentum for the whole group.

What are the important dates and deadlines?

These will be advised at the start of the course.

What kind of support do you offer?

You will be teamed up with a learning buddy to work with and you can always consult your regional mentor for help.

Will I have to travel for any course-related activities?

Not unless you need to in order to complete your project and certification course requirements.

Are the assignments marked and graded?

No. Each participant is expected to contribute at their best. We value the diversity of approaches and anticipate many right answers. The assignments are a mixture of exploration, research, contributions, and reflections. Each assignment will be de-briefed and you’ll be given feedback, offered suggestions and further items to explore. Delivery of the certification course is observed.
