Overview

With over 20 years of experience across education, inclusion, technology, and community leadership, I bring a relationship-centred approach to facilitation and collaboration.

My career began in English Language Teaching in Vietnam before I completed a Master’s in Special and Inclusive Education in the UK, where I focused on supporting learners with diverse needs, particularly children on the autism spectrum. This foundation shaped my belief that meaningful learning starts with understanding people, creating trust, and meeting individuals where they are.

After relocating to New Zealand, I became one of the first staff members of the Postgraduate Certificate in Digital and Collaborative Teaching and Learning programme at academyEX. In this role, I supported around 8,000 teachers across New Zealand to integrate digital technologies into their teaching, leadership, and professional practice. This experience strengthened my skills in facilitating adult learning, guiding change, and helping people feel confident in adopting new ways of working.

I am currently Digital Product Director at EduMaxi, where I lead the development and Southeast Asia expansion of Speakia, an English-speaking practice app for young learners. My work brings together product leadership, strategic partnerships, and cross-cultural collaboration, with a strong focus on building trusted relationships across schools, communities, and education partners.

I also serve as Co-chair of VietTechNZ, a community connecting Vietnamese technology professionals in New Zealand. Through this role, I help create spaces for people to share knowledge, build networks, and support one another professionally.

Across all my work, I am passionate about bringing people together, facilitating meaningful conversations, and helping individuals and teams recognise their strengths, understand each other better, and work more effectively together.
