With a Masters degree in HR & OD and after 25 years experience working in many industries and companies both in NZ and overseas, I decided to go out on my own and start my own business. A business geared towards helping business owners and managers get their people stuff right. I created Tradie HR because of my passion for HR, small businesses and trades.
I can’t say I have seen it all when it comes to behaviour in the workplace but I have certainly seen a lot and I have a proven track record of knowing what works and what doesn’t especially in motivating and engaging employees. I really feel like I am now living the dream – making a difference and adding value by helping business owners build workplace environments where employees and managers work together to create a winning culture and winning results.
I have worked with TetraMap in other companies before and love how it can be transferred into all areas of your life – not just professionally but also personally. It has helped me with my own direct reports and in playing to peoples strengths. It is a great team building exercise that carries on long after the workshop ends.
