Raymond Yap – Leadership & Transformation Professional
Raymond Yap is an established TetraMap® Master Facilitator, personally certified by the founders of TetraMap®, Yoshimi and Jon Brett.
He is a seasoned leadership and management transformation professional with extensive experience in designing, leading, and facilitating corporate transformation initiatives since 2007. His work spans leadership development, management excellence, and team-building programmes across diverse industries, including manufacturing, hospitality, technology, education, banking and financial services, publishing, online platforms, and defence.
Over the years, Raymond has trained, coached, and mentored hundreds of senior leaders and executives across Asia in areas such as leadership and strategy, decision-making, team effectiveness, and business excellence implementation.
As a mentor, Raymond received training from the Asia Institute of Mentoring (Singapore) and the International Internship University (India), and has mentored professionals, solopreneurs, and NUS undergraduates.
He is also a certified facilitator of Points of You®, MBTI®, and SDI® profiling tools, a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner, and a WealthFlow® Corporate Trainer.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin, Raymond was invited by the GuangZhou FoShan JunAn Government (China) from 2018 to 2020 to conduct two runs of the “CEO IPO Management Workshop.”
As a Practicing Management Consultant (PMC), Raymond is also a qualified consultant for Business Excellence (SPRING Singapore) and Service-Class (SPRING Singapore). He served as a MINDEF Excellence Award (MES) Assessor (2006–2007) and contributed to the certification of four SAF units under the Service Excellence Niche Standard (2006–2008). He has also been extensively involved in the Singapore Quality Class (SQC) consulting projects.
Deeply engaged in the Work Improvement Teams (WITS) movement since the 1990s, Raymond was appointed as an internal WITS assessor for SAF units while in MINDEF, and has facilitated numerous WITS workshops for the SAF since 2009.
Prior to his consulting career, Raymond served 27 years in the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), holding key appointments such as Battalion Commander, Brigade Operations Officer, Wing Commander, Deputy Commander of the Air Force School, and Staff Officer in MINDEF. His expertise covered operations, training, human resource planning, budget control, and strategic planning—laying a solid foundation for his career as a professional trainer, consultant, and coach.
