Ask any TetraMap facilitator their biggest challenge and most will say explaining the magic of TetraMap and how easily it can transform their client’s business. How do you pitch TetraMap to your clients and colleagues? We know we can trust the process of TetraMap to get results but how do we convince the decision makers?
Mark Doughty, leadership strategist, author of ‘Kindness In Leadership’ and founder of the Global Kindness Institute is a long-time champion of TetraMap and has a successful track record in helping global organisations accelerate growth and £ms+ in revenue. He has a simple strategy – to be effective in leadership and team development roles always try to understand how the business makes money, where the value is created and bring TetraMap into the story but not be the story or reason.
It’s all about getting to know your clients, says Mark:
“The more you work on your relationships with your contacts, the more you get to know where the value is created in the organisation. This is where you start – by showing your client what you can do for them.”
“Value is not a slogan. It’s a system of relationships, decisions, and consequences. It’s how leaders and teams we show up strategically, emotionally, and operationally. And when there is an opportunity to improve the value, because TetraMap’s value is anchored in relationships, it creates a whole new different paradigm for leaders and teams to eagerly explore, which is then where TetraMap has instant impact and commercial success.”
“Adding value” is a tired phrase. It’s not where we start.
Instead, start with how an organisation comes together—how it listens, moves, adapts, and delivers. Value isn’t a single metric. It’s a living system.
In sales, value shows up in:
In client management, value takes many forms:
In process and operations, value is embedded in:
Trust your intuition, your team, and Nature as teacher – all the ingredients to create a fabulous celebration event!
A huge thanks to Professor Jack Wong for bringing everyone together to host the 25-year celebration in Singapore. Along with his team – wife Sharon Lee, daughter Zoe Wong and Dr. Brandon Tan HL, the overarching theme was ‘Multigenerational Teams’. Guests included TetraMap Master Facilitators Raymond Yap Pik Hwee and Priscilla Looi, and Global Brand Ambassador Louise Duncan.
Louise said: “I’ve always been fascinated by Singapore’s remarkable story and how this country works with such energy and vibrancy. Valuing diversity is at the heart of this nation, and has long been the case as far as I can see and have experienced on multiple occasions.
“After more than 20 years with TetraMap, I’m reminded daily why I love what I do. The relationships, the learning, the laughter – it never feels like work when you’re surrounded by people who genuinely care about making a difference, and TetraMap’s brand essence is what brings us all together. The trip to Singapore was not just about the one-day event but an opportunity to connect and reconnect with people and a place we’ve had a long history with.”
One of the event’s highlights came from founders Jon and Yoshimi Brett who ‘zoomed in’ from New Zealand to reflect on their ‘why’ from 25 years ago. They also shared their vision for the next 25 years – give nature a seat at the table. Long-term partnerships were also celebrated, including Singapore Armed Forces and Adam Khoo Learning Technologies (AKLTG), clients since 2008. At AKLTG, Master TetraMap Facilitator Ridhwan Yusoff and Certified TetraMap Facilitator Kelvin Loon are taking things to the next level, exploring possibilities with AI and gamification with teams and clients.
There was special recognition for Raymond Yap Pik Hwee’s significant contributions since 2006 and Dr. Brandon Tan HL shared an ingenious story about transforming conflict into connection.
And of course, a catalytic question from Louise – ‘Where can you personally exercise your leadership for greater impact collectively in the world?’ – which explored TetraMap International’s innovative Leadership programme, examining the four leadership capabilities: Courage, Wisdom, Compassion, and Inspiration.
For Dr Brandon Tan HL, being together at the event brought the all-important fun, insights, and wisdom that he believes will carry them into the future: “Leadership across generations starts with understanding our elements and being together at the event reminded us how Earth, Air, Water, and Fire provide timeless wisdom to bridge perspectives, inspire collaboration, and lead with clarity. Here’s to the next 25 years of growth, transformation, and learning with TetraMap!”
Prof Jack Wong added: “Thanks to TetraMap International for trusting me, and to every Master and certified TetraMap facilitator who showed up and made the day meaningful. You reminded me why this work matters – simple language, natural wisdom, genuine connection.”
TetraMap is much more than a tool, it is a way of being, doing and thinking. It has an impact on all who experience it – but what inspires you the most? Improved communication, easy to use, personal growth? Or is it the simplicity, inclusivity, nature metaphors?
